Lots of votes for the Minwax product. Hmmmmmm...

I would also ponder buying a small touch up gun to use your 1 hp compressor. After all, we are talking enough paint/clear to cover a guitar body not a whole car.
Worst is you'd have to refill your cup a few times and let your compresso r recharge itself. But I can't see this happening too often in laying down enough to coat your guitar body.

I fill the colour cup with the appropriate solvent, open the needle up and spray. I put my finger over the nozzle a few times to back flush the gun and spray until all the solvent is gone. Then I fill the cup half way with solvent and do the same procedure. After that I take the gun apart and give it a good cleaning with the solvent and a paint brush.Hey shreddy... Let the jokes begin...
Damn shreddy, I just sprayed coffee half across the room. CheersNo problemo! You know what they say... give a man a gun and he can Rob a bank. Give a man a bank and e can Rob the world! ... oh .... wait...
"Puritan" - thanks!Golden pecan and puitan(?) pine.
I had to sand the pocket to get the neck to fit, so it is a tight sqeeze right now. The spacing should be interesting because it was routed for traditional tele pups, but as you can see, I had them re-route it for HBs before they sent it out. I bought an HB/Tele bridge that matched the prior strings and bridge drill holes exactly, so I am hoping it all goes smooth!Hows the fit in the neck pocket ? You should put a bridge and a couple E strings on there to see how all that lines up before drillin the neck holes. That F style string spacing isnt as forgiving for elignment on the neck as Gibson type bridge spacing.
