I am going to do gloss nitro. I will help you with the beams (on the cheap).I got a notched straight edge. I need to do a little homework on the leveling beam. What would I use on compound radius necks? I have 4 Warmoth compound necks now for projects.
Leave the mineral streak alone. Nothing really ya can do about whats in the wood itself. It adds character. Stain looks great. Are ya going gloss finish ?

For compound necks, use multiple shorter blocks (a compound radius is usually not more than 2 radii, I think). Get a bunch of these 8" blocks
