I get the sound "I" want with my Kemper through a Crown power and and various guitar Cabs. I gave up on the Powered
FRFR a long time ago. I never liked them and I tried three of the best out there.

That's what I love about the Kemper, it's super versatile.
In my band we do a wide spread of songs/tones so I went FRFR. I missed the thump of a cab but the sound out on the dance floor is sublime.
Can't wait to get my Kabinet to practice and try it out in a band setting. Hoping to have that thump back.

Not me. I have no room for another cab. I can only squeak in a head or 2!

What Crown amp are ya using?

Right now I have a Crown XLi 2500. It does the job, but it's a heavy bastard!

I also have a Yamaha PX5 that works just as well with a little less weight.

OK, so here is test 1 - Kemper direct to mixer vs Kemper routed through the power section of my Ceriatone and then to the mixer. The Kemper profile is Dumble CLN JM. It is only one play through, recorded simulataneouls to 2 tracks, and then split for comparison. Levels were near identical

Which is which (I know - how would you know, but I might as well ask)? Which do you like better (this should be easier to answer!) ?

Funny, I prefer track two because it is warmer!

I like track one and agree it's crisper and has more definition. I listened at a nice high volume,
but not ear splitting loud through Presonus Studio Monitors.

They sound pretty interesting playing simultaneously too!

Track 1- better clarity, but shows digital FX artifacts...flangey digital reverb and delay tails.
Track 2- warmer to me. Less digital FX artifacts...they seem buried more...less “up front”.

Track 2 is average at best, zero dynamics, sounds like something is wrong, muffled. For example, when you do two soft strums at the end, you can't hear the notes well - you're just not getting a correct response there, imho.

Track 1 is a lot nicer, but still lacking in attack and crispness - as Thatbastarddon said, something is rounding out the notes a bit.

Nice playing (although it made me think of two fellas with ponytails and irritating smiles...).

The effects are part of the profile, but they can be turned off. Shall I so this again? I can try a different profile (for variety) or this one again, and turn off effects.

This is FUN, not a bother. I have all this equipment set up, why not use it. Besides (and the previous statement does not need a qualification), if it was not for all the time you invested in teaching me, I would NOT BE ABLE to do this!!
