So…I don’t do this very often, but I’m gonna do it now….

I‘m feelin’ the need for something new (to me) in the family of fuzz tonez. There’s no aversion here to “rolling my own” either.
(See THIS EXCELLENT THREAD to understand the meaning there…their fuzz kits are HERE )

Anyway, I’ve become enamored with down tuning for some sludgy stoner stuff again lately, and I find myself wondering if I would enjoy a different fuzz variant, apart from the Octavia, and the different muffs I've built over the years. I’m feeling open to suggestions…that Game Of Tonez challenge had me looking at the Way Huge Swollen Pickle variants(I mean, they have an actual “Dirty Donny” model :rolf:  ), and finding myself curious about what else I could be missing in this quandary…

So I ask you wonderful people….Do you have any suggestions for thick & gooey fuzz pedals? To build(kits), or buy, it doesn’t matter…I don’t fear the iron! But tell me why too….please.

I tend to stick with overdrives, but I have used the Distortion+ for years and have always loved it. Also the same for me is a Treble Booster. That is probably my favorites of what I have and have used. Others including a Reuss FZ-1 (Maestro FZ-1), Bad Cat Super Fuzz (Univox copy), and Moseley Fuzz.

I would really love to get my hands on a couple of different Tone Benders to try, and a good Fuzz-Face.

Why, why....so I go Tone Bender, Marshall Supa Fuzz.
This guy is playing the vocal harmony of you can't kill rock n roll.

I have never found a good sounding Fuzz until now so far only played a Esquire and a Strat through it
it was not cheap and are made after you pay with shipping it took a month to get it
I have a few Tone Benders they are good but the Dominion Fuzz is top notch

I like the idea of silicon AND germanium at the flick of the switch. Thanks! Noted!

Let’s say that I had some Murcielago, Road Saw, and older Sleep playing in the lab today…it pushed me to this asking thing…
So, thank you sir! Noted.
If you were up for a drive, I could always loan you a few pedals to try out.

I'll be going to Geno's in Portland to see Murcielago on April 2. I'll be sure to take photos of the pedal boards for you.

The only Fuzz I've ever enjoyed playing through: Abominable Pedals Hail Satan/Cannabis.

Sweet!!! I really enjoy listening to those guys a lot…I’d appreciate the pic’s, and knowledge! They touch on the fuzz sound/style I’m interested in…often.

I am tempted by the other offer too! That’s very kind of you sir!
