Folk Time!
Four Strong Winds by Ian and Sylvia, warts and all.
Them, not me.
Ah that will take the hippies back....
WOW! I have never herd a remake of that song like that! That was fabulous! Well done Geoff!
Folk Time!
Four Strong Winds by Ian and Sylvia, warts and all.
Them, not me.
Ah that will take the hippies back....
Four strong winds is what my son calls me, my father, my cousin, and my uncle after we have bean dip.
Do the DEW!!!!
Can of Mountain Dew ... $1.99
Punk style hat ... $20.00
Covering The Clash with style ... PRICELESS!
That was awesome! Love the hat! That is an instant TTR Classic!

Those words seem familiar@C-Grin punks it up with a legit punk classic and leaves me behind to claim 4th. I wanted him to stay, but like you would expect from any rebellious antisocial nihilist, he decided instead to go.
enjoy it while it lasts because one day is fine, the next is black.
Loved it tho... convincing performance!

lol that’s the only way to go to a Sex Pistols show, well minus white powdery substance of course. That was cool. My son was in to underground stuff back in the day.
His friend actually landed a short while playing bass in Rancid.
I saw the Sex Pistals in the late 70's. My buddy was a complete music nut.
We (I had a car) drove to Hollywood one again back then. Good thing gas was cheap.
Just 16. Pick up truck. Out of money, out of luck. Lol
:dood:Well it’s just a good thing I’m full of crap then isn’t it,You just keep right on cranking out that kinda “crap.” That was fun.

All right good to hear. Now if we can just find our wayward bro's.I have confirmation McMeister Metal (AKA Mitch) will begin his comeback tour via RiffMasters

Due to his recent circumstances well beyond his control, I have extended the extra opportunity to add his Main Event #1 submission this round to help him get back in the fray without handicap.
Because he had a reasonably good excuse for falling off the edge of the world, no penalty.
We are all looking forward to what he can bring to the game!
Still await to hear back from @LRT and @mcblink who, as far as I can tell have exciting new adventures ahead. Please be understanding. It's probably quite time-consuming to purchase new wardrobes, shopping for fun accessories and getting dolled-up every day.
I know I can safely speak for all RiffMasters in saying you are both very beautiful people both inside and out.

I am just a hack , but thank you for the compliment and support..I can say this for sure. With Mitch back in the mix, the battle for the top spot will become even harder.
I’ve come to a realization. All you guys that I listen to play or I watch your videos. You all say the same thing, “I’m a hack” or “here is some slop”.I am just a hack , but thank you for the compliment and support..
I am going to do my best to not stay at the bottom.. where I now reside..
Beautifully put my friend, and I feel the same way about it all as you do.I’ve come to a realization. All you guys that I listen to play or I watch your videos. You all say the same thing, “I’m a hack” or “here is some slop”.
Then I listen to what you guys do, and it’s gold or I watch how fluid you all play.
Modesty is good, but from what I’ve seen and listened to over the past couple of years being here. There isn’t a hack among a one of you. You guys inspire me to get better, to practice more, to learn new techniques.
It’s why it saddens me when anyone drops from the forum. It’s one less person adding creativity. It’s one less playing style. It’s one less person to learn from.
@Headache and his heavy riff tones
@Clockworkmike and how fluid he picks
@Mitch Pearrow SJMP and his down and dirty riffs
@C-Grin playing just about anything in front of him.
@Ramo thrashing it up and his speed and accuracy are just wow!
@Thatbastarddon recording and capturing his playing which is awesome by the way … and his lava lamp.
@TVvoodoo his creativity borders on genius
The list goes on and on. I love to mention what I’ve learned from everyone here, but then this would turn into one of those long winded Oscar acceptance speaches.
Not having @mcblink and @LRT on more often is a loss. Not just for the sake of this game, but for all of us.
Some of you have posted a clip of your talents here from time to time. Be it singing, bass playing, crafting, recording prowess, or just a knowledge base. You should post more! You may think you suck, more than likely you don’t. We all tend to be our own worst critics.
I count myself lucky to have found this community of talented people who share their talents
Enough of my ramblings.
Let’s get back to the game!
Wow, thank you man, seriously! Not for me but for all you said!I’ve come to a realization. All you guys that I listen to play or I watch your videos. You all say the same thing, “I’m a hack” or “here is some slop”.
