Something real is gonna happen today! Guitar Duel deadline is this afternoon. 2:30pm CST
@Kerry Brown and @jtcnj both risk dropping a guaranteed MINIMUM 7 points each if they cannot counterpunch the mighty @Ku² s simple but strongly-worded two-word message to each of them.
Are two forum longtimers gonna sit there and take that kind of abuse from a greenhorn TTR noob? Is that the TTR way?
I say NOOOO!!!! NO WAY!!!
If they both fail to mount any response a crazy 28 points will vault KU into the Penthouse. I never meant things to go this sideways, but the possibility remains very real. Let's all of us encourage these men to get their slap on, see if they can't get at least one good punk-ass smack each in on Mr Ku-Ku's smirky guitar face. He's laughing at ya!
Give it your best, men... we are all watching! Do it for the rest of the field, if not for your own self-respect. What sort of faces shall stare back from your mirrors tomorrow? Those of warriors? Or of wussies?

Brother @jtcnj pulls Blitzkeig Bop out of somewhere deep inside his self, and a nicely accurate version too with great tone!
Will it strike fear into the heart of member @Ku²??? Likely not. Maybe it might if he had one. It does strip whole bunch of valuable bonus points off the winners' treasure trove and guarantees one thing for sure: Tonight we vote!
Can @Kerry Brown get something in the next hour and a half to make it extra-extra interesting? I sure hope so!

There is now a Round #2 "Guitar Duel" voting thread where all TTR members and RiffMaster
competitors get 48 hours to cast a vote in favour of out two duel combatants @Ku² and @jtcnj .
You are voting on who had the best "Punk'd Up" Guitar duel submission between the two. Blind vote, you have one vote each and 48 hours to drop it.

In the thread I also reveal what happens to Kerry Brown's 7 points lost for not submitting, a small rules adaptation in the interest of overall fairness for competitors.

I t seems however, the ancient Lava lamp has been powered up. The lights dimmed up here in Saskatchewan.
The Good News is, there's still plenty more music still to come in which will grab up (by my count), approx. 60 RiffMaster Guaranteed Automatic Points are just sittin' there waiting to be plucked from the vine.
The Bad news: time's running out fellas. Round 2 Main Event and Punk'd single point submission deadline is:
Thursday, Jan 25th, 7PM CST ... Then, we VOTE!
If you submitted 2 folk'd ups, I will ask a few days before the vote which one you choose to have members vote on.
RiffMasters Challenges are open to all TTR Members to try. You will have fun whether you want to or not dammit, AND probably get awarded points, which will totally make your week.
You are Welcome to jump in anytime! Do it for for fame, fortune and Cool Gran

I'm really beat up physically from shoveling snow post surgery, and mentally from all the stuff going on with trying to move my mum into a hospice care center. I still wanted to try to get something in for the folk part. You'll probably see less of me the next few weeks.

Yes!! I knew I heard it before... about 35 years ago... a friend of mine used to play that record a lot.

I'm a little surprised, but possibly familiarity in the song choice may be the difference. But wait!! There's controversy too! Oh MY!
After voting, Brother @Sapient revealed he thought jtcnj's guitar play-along cover was a full on new recording! omg! OMG!! @Thatbastarddon commented the playing was on and the mix was a fooler too
WAS HE THE ONLY ONE???
How would jtcnj go about recruiting Joey Ramone to sing on his RiffMasters submission?
Salient marvelled how perfectly he mimicked Joey LOL Crazy stuff!
Jtcnj posted a bit sheepishly he thought it what he did would be apparent to all listeners just his own guitar played over, panned to one side . Oh the drama!
Does Sapient want a re-vote? Is jtcnj now hiring himself out as a mastering engineer? Will he shark away all Sapients clients?
