Announcing... RiffMasters!

Good Morning Buskers!!!

Last night before I hit the sack, I loaded up the stove as is my nightly winter routine. About 3am I wake up, something's bugging me. Feel a pain my right hand, my ring finger. Mild throbbing. oh well. Somehow manage ignore it, get a few more hours of shuteye. Then, while stirring before waking up, I brush my hand against my pillow ... OWWWW! what the Hell!!??!

Upon closer inspection turns out I had a 1/4" long wood splinter lodged in the tip of my ring finger. Didn't even feel it happen last night, but it was sure swole up this morning. Got up, brewed coffee, dug 'er out kinda rough with a needle this morning, left-handed (not as short, delicate or pain-free an operation as I'd have liked). It's pretty much all bled out now, throbbing less. Relief!!!

All I could think of was "Ahhh F***!! RiffMasters!!!" Was planning to try hooking up an external drive to my ancient DAW and maybe lay trax tonight... might heal enough over the day. The wound is rght in the dang tip so can't really bandaid it proper.

Maybe I'll still get away with it... Don't really use my ring finger for bass anyway. Get that down at least. Maybe some pain-inspired vox along with. Got an oldie but a goodie folk song waiting to get juiced up with a dose of rawk!

Happy Friday my brothers. Say hi to all your Moms for me. She'll remember.

It’s ok Brad. You can bow out. There is no shame in conceding especially in the face of all the raw talent you’ve seen exhibited so far. I know it’s scary and those who have never face these kinds of ferocious competitors before wouldn’t know how to handle it.
I know what you are thinking. “But I have a boo-boo on my wittle finger” to that the great Barbarian Bob would say, “sniff the white powder of greatness and rock on! METAL TO THE CORE!!!”

Beat your wood with a mall ! Lmao
Do they sell natural gas in your neck of the 100 acre wood ? Not that burning carbon based greens isn't cool (in my book) just saying. You are in the geat white North.

Here is a load of crap, bare minnimum effort if not less. Give me my damn participation trophy.
Do the DEW!!!!
Can of Mountain Dew ... $1.99
Punk style hat ... $20.00
Covering The Clash with style ... PRICELESS!
That was awesome! Love the hat! That is an instant TTR Classic!
and that launched you into a tie for 3rd. but @Thatbastarddon hasn't broken out his lava lamp yet, so lets see what he has up his sleeve.

Damn that lava lamp!!! :ROFLMAO:

@C-Grin punks it up with a legit punk classic and leaves me behind to claim 4th. I wanted him to stay, but like you would expect from any rebellious antisocial nihilist, he decided instead to go.

enjoy it while it lasts because one day is fine, the next is black.

Loved it tho... convincing performance!

That was cool. My son was in to underground stuff back in the day.
His friend actually landed a short while playing bass in Rancid.

I saw the Sex Pistals in the late 70's. My buddy was a complete music nut.
We (I had a car) drove to Hollywood one again back then. Good thing gas was cheap.
Just 16. Pick up truck. Out of money, out of luck. Lol

Alright so I suck at real recording, don't understand that damn thing still all this time later and my patience with it is at the point the computer is getting ready to be skeeted in front of my 12 gauge. But, I got something anyways, for better or worse ( hey at least I didn't take a knee or punt this challenge even though it IS Folk and this has gotten the better of me, I'll admit lol)

Here we go, warts and all

Never heard no warts there. That was Great! right song for the performance..
