How many more guitars do you need? Just one more.

Pretty set now with guitars and amps. being basically housebound casue of accident. This is my life. I get a guitar & 5 days later new song is done. How about when you pick that guitar up for the first time...better have the recorder rolling..the initial ..reckless abandon as you play before the mind..all the sudden wants to mod..play this way cause ya read about it.

I kinda stuck in my own little world of making original music to compensate for the lack of being able to go do what every one else gets to..i can..but some sense of loyalty keeps me right at home in case of another fall or seizure from the Mrs. sold harley, realistically the Hot Rod days are over. I only used to ever have 2 basses & SVT & PF heads & 8x10 & 1x15 cab..

.If i didn't set a studio up at home this year.. might of just quit life cause that passion for holding shows & doing non proffit work has been robbed by a poonanny DUI driver..who to this day is fighting the whole way a DUI charge... these guitars keep him safe...

Everyone has dif musical needs..work it..whether ya have 1 or 50..its all about 1 thing..what music do you make with what tools you work with, Spend more time playing..as we age..i cant imagine the day when the playing can't happen. That will prob be my last day on earth

Okay dudes....that comet is badass

There was no moon out tonight, so it was especially friggin dark out in the boonies. We could see the milky way, and it's cloudy streak across the sky. Not something I get to see too often these days. Took it for granted when I was younger and it was an every night occurrence.

I picked out more satellites than I ever remember seeing all at once, several of which followed the same path, not far behind the one in front of it....an astonishing amount, really. Over the last several years we've managed pollute our skies with junk that helps us watch football, or browse the web, etc...

But that comet though....is visible with just the naked eye, a big beautiful tail...simply amazing.

All my friends think I'm a dork. I pity them, as they don't know how or why these things are magnificent.

Yeah, I am a dork. So fukcing what?

Im in to space stuff too, back in Georgia in 90s wee had lot of power cuts and at night it was pitch black everything and in summer sky was amazing ... You could see shooting starts ....now itS too polluted with lights...

If we can get clear skies I want to try again tonight to photograph it. Wish my telescope wasn't so big, oddly. Hard to move it to where I could see Neowise.
I got a great shot in like 96 when Hale Bopp came by. THIS IS NOT COMET NEOWISE.

Also a cool one of the partial eclipse here a couple years ago.

That eclipse was cool as poop...I traveled south to Oregon in order to see it it it's totality...

It's quite weird; not only do the lights go out, but on it's approach we lose different radiations and parts of the spectrum. It affects humans in a very strange way.

I saw my dad drawn to tears by this event and I won't say that I also wasn't moved in a fundamental way. Many of the other spectators got quite emotional as well!

There's another one coming across N America in 2024, IIRC....WELL WORTH THE TRIP IF YOU CAN MAKE IT!!!!!

@JohnnyGoo

Did you see the eclipse a couple years back, Goo?

I remember seeing it, on the way to work in the morning.
It was unbelievable to look at and know that the shadow on the moon was made by the earth.

Yes McBlink i did see it. I was working at the Grade School then and we all went out to the field with those glasses on and watched it.Almost complete eclipse over where im at. Was Awesome. Things started to turn yellow or something with the color spectrum. Reminded me of when we ate Mushrooms hahaha.

Oh that's cool, I thought maybe you got to see it in totality - that's a whole different deal when the sun is just gone. Just the giant corona...the stars come out..like someone flipped a switch

My cousins down in Beaverton saw it from their driveway. I don't recall if my cousins in Roseburg got to see it or not

Here in WA where I'm at it reached 97% totality or something like that...really close but not quite the whole shebang

My sister and I almost went to Chile to see another last July, until I realized that it's the winter months in July down there. Might not have seen much. Didn't want to go that far for a big maybe.

Definitely going to see the next one in a few more years
