I feel your pain. That’s me at least once every day.

Opening day of archery deer season , I was up and showered and on the road by 3a.m.

I was able to hike about 3 miles today.
My legs are shot.
My back is just ok
I was about 40 yards short of being able to loose an arrow towards the buck I was after all morning.

I took a little break, cooled and dried my feet.
Ate some jerky.
Enjoyed the 8500 feet elevation....
It was a beautiful day

Just finished making an eight quart stock pot brimming full of beautiful garden-fresh borscht. Carrots, taters, celery, cabbage, onions, dillweed and of course beets too. Turkey-based stock.
Borscht is the funnest word to both say and spell. A hot bowl with crusty bread and a big dollop of sour cream in it makes a fella feel kinda lik
