I feel you pain. About 50 years ago, I destroyed the tip of my left ring ringer. Hoping its not as bad as it probably looks right now.

Probably gonna lose the nail, but it looks like everything should heal just fine.
When I smashed mine, it was hamburger. Drove myself to the doctor. Was doing just fine. More ticked off than in pain. However....... Nearly passed out on the table while the nurse was cleaning it.

Hope so. I’ve gotten the quick of the nail before and ended up losing it. Truthfully. Not that big a deal beyond a nuisance.

Thanks Don. I know it's your favorite color. At one point it was repainted in Amber, which is a VW color for '74. I found that the original color was Phoenix Red, which is a bit deeper and reddish orange than it is now. I plan on doing all the body work and repainting it next winter. Still not sure which color. Might go back to original.

I've done this about 4 times. They get the wire brush out and start dragging it through the hole in whatever..... I forget to breathe!

Testing a new little generic GoPro camera thing I got mounted to my bow to capture archery hunts/kills .
It's not really very good, and it makes my bow sound like a gun going off ha ha ha! But I think I spent under $100 on it too so....
Anyhow, it might be cool if I shoot something with it here in a couple weeks. (If my back allows me to hunt that is)

Yep!! That’s what did it to me as well. Turned white as a sheet,…. From what the nurse said.

They actually have some nausea counter reaction pills that worked.

It was ripped open pretty good. It looked a lot worse when it happened. I slept about 6 hours. It has not fully stopped bleeding.

These are my Swarovski 15x56, they are the SLC model. (Couldn't afford the even higher up models) I had to take a credit card from Cabela's to be able to buy them. Amazing glass!
All my other glass (10x42 and 15x50) is Vortex, their warranty is the best in the biz.
And my spotter is a Vortex.
