Listening to the falling rain after more than 30 days of dryness.

We didn’t get a lot of rain out of this system. Bit over a 1/4”. Some areas both north and south got hammered. Big rain and some severe. Saw some wind damage photos from south of us.

I spent the morning back up the mountain scouting deer. I had the very best day of scouting I have ever had in my life! We saw over 100 deer and about 70 of them were bucks! And I would happily stick an arrow through about 50 of them!
Spotted one rather large 4x4 too!!.

All pics taken with my phone through my spotter or my binos, so they aren't the best... Also these are over a half mile away.

After smashing my finger on Friday with one of the boards , yesterday I got back to work on my step building. First time I cut stair stringers. The calculator worked well. Once I cut them I had to retreat them to prevent rot.

It's open now closes on the 25th only 3 crabs per household this year nothing like the past 6 king crabs per day year around
can only run one crab pot per boat in the past could run 4 pots.

Just got on Amazon to buy some toothpaste.

Ended up buying some hunting supplies instead.... Game bags, dead down wind dryer sheets, chlorophyll tabs, etc....

Forgot the toothpaste!
