What’s on the Grill

Although they look OK....these are the worst ribs I’ve ever cooked. Ever.
The fact that the rack of ribs was too long to fit the grill in one piece(a first for me), seems to indicate that they may have come from a big, tough, old pig.... :(
There were some acceptable parts, and I got a fresh batch of BBQ sauce out of the deal.

...all done by the book....

I’ve kinda stopped with the ribs. I know they’re the holy grail of BBQ, but past few years I’ve been putting a pork roast in smoker and shredding it for pulled pork. About the same amount of work and effort for a whole lot more meat.

OK, how about what’s from the oven then :pound-hand:. Valentine’s Day dinner.

This is a dark chocolate and port sauce poured over a pan seared then baked filet (med-rare) with crispy gold potatoes, asparagus and bake tomatoes. I never had chocolate on a steak before it was great. Extra sauce was used for dipping the potatoes and asparagus in in, yum.

Been a while...I didn’t actually use the grill tonight to make this. I used it a while back to make this...

Tonight, I took a big pile of that pulled pork, that I had vacuum sealed and frozen, and turned it in to this...
