The Muse I Adorn

YEs it weights a TON---

I can get almost identical "p" sounds out of the t-40 to my squire P -- BUT I can get IDENTICAL "P" tones out of the T-45 -- pick up plascement is more "P" like

Adrian, of course if one wants a P sound, just buy a P. If they already have P's, then a T45, T60 or whatever is good due to it being a different animal for a variety in one's playing pallette.

Same goes for Jazz Basses, Ric's, Music Man, Alembic etc. It is pretty cool to hear all the variations of tones one can get out of that T60.

well--- I agree--- especially when you can score these little Gems for 50.00 ;)

I almost burned and Ibanez Destroyer because of a Floyd. A Bigsby would have already been sacrificed to the band saw Gods...

It’s best you not dabble in the hidden “Order of the Vibrato”, then.

Those who attempt to do so, without the proper Calling and Rites of Initiation, risk being driven to Madness and Insanity.

Tele related threads prompted me to pull the SX Furrian Tele yesterday.
Sadly, I was reminded why it has been sitting in the case.

It took some work to get it right, now it plays well, is very comfortable to play seated. I played this guitar the most for a long time, unplugged seated mostly.
Before my stable started to expand beyond the tele, SX strat and Agile AL 2000 LP.

When I started playing plugged in most of the time, mainly standing I discovered the wicked neck dive.
I also cant find good tones on the pickups; the neck is a stock P90, most folks like them, and an upgraded GFS Fat alnico bridge.
I need to spend more time getting the tone sorted; but I am more likely to pick up one of my others I am pleased with.
