Black tape wound strings.........smooth as silk---

Yohio Adrian...that bass looks bad to the bone! The Precision bass guitar is supposed to be the ultimate bass sound that cuts through the mix. And you also have the Jazz pick up as a nice option. And you have 21 frets as opposed to 20 frets so you can play the high E note. I need a bass guitar sometime so I can use my Peavy Minx 110 bass amplifier and slap some funky notes.:)

BTW...are the controls 2 volume & a master tone?

;>)/

Yes... like a Thunderbird. :) IT is Sleek and thin and sexy and comfortable to play ---the pups are schallers its a great bass with good tones and plays like butta -- I could play it for hours and hours-- and (unlike the BEHEMOTH T series Peaveys its LIGHT) so -- if I WAS to gig -- it would be go to for sure.

look around Squires (p and or J) and P/J can be had for VERY little $$$ and --with a couple tweaks and turns -- they can be AMAZING players

Back to the buck and half ;)
gibbo will do.jpg

FYI this is an '81 KALAMAZOO plant G3 Grabber-- triple pups -- middle is ALWAYS on
middle pos is all 3 (the "buck and a half"
then you get bridge and middle or neck and middle--

notably the long neck on this lass is the MOST STABLE Gibson neck I have -- I set it when I got it -- and well -- its been like 2 years now-- holds tune-- never touched it with a Truss rod tool--I will point out it is a BOLT on MAple neck and FB ........(THose Crazy KalamazookieS!)

This guitar is a BEAST. It plays like a dream and it is light

It has separate volumes with push pulls to split pups and master tone; Lindy Fralin pickups which were uncovered, but I covered them. They measure Neck: 8.53 /4.25 split Bridge: 9.73/4.93 split

this is a ----92 I think --
USA Peavey Reactor AX-- Tele--
dual rail humbucking pups --
it twangs-- it screams -- it does blues and jazz -- and looks good doing it
absolutely GORGEOUS fade -- the camera never captures it worth a hoot
string through bridge independant saddles---
AMAZING peavey neck

Nice guitar man! I've been looking for a Reactor AX for a while. The few that I've seen were priced ridiculously too high. I'd hang on to it.

looks and sounds like a keeper AD . Almost thought the pups were Joe Barden's that Danny Gatton favored! I use a Duncan Hot rails in the bridge of ma 71' strat as I just needed the umph of a hot rails in the bridge for hard rock "parts" when called upon. What was interesting was the #4 position of the middle and the Hot rails, a little unique in that combination.
