The plans I had were the bid set, and no specs on any of the work, I just know that because of it being a commercial bld, 16” on center is never been approved by any other party, so I made the decision to go 12” on center, and got scolded for wasting money, and should have made a phone call!!

He even took a moment of his precious time and considerable genius to condescend to us dummies who are not "in the industry". What an ass. This is exactly how he acted for a full hour when I got in an exchange with him.

PRS TCI pickups - what's the deal ?

in the clips they sound gorgeous ! :drool the snake oil blurb says "Tuned Capacitance Inductance", and "Each TCI pickup set is tuned to the specific guitar". over at the PRS forums they seem to believe this is done individually for every single guitar - I'm having a hard time buying this...

Ya know, come to think of it, each of my guitars is tuned with a pickup :pound-hand:
 
DonO, I am really struggling with the current costs of materials. It has truly forced me into almost exclusively CASH purchases of reclaimed or used or extra lumber people have off jobs etc. This often requires massive hunts to locate good buys. And angst whenever I see people expecting to sell at a few bux below retail and act insulted if you know the real prices are like 2/3 - 3/4 less.
