yeah -- been watching his reviews for years .... his "Ferengi Fodder" has CERTAINLY grown in $$$ amount. Rather impressive really and a good YouTube following-- carved himself out a damn fine niche.

When I first got my Silverburst the saddles were pretty gnar, so I decided to keep the original Schaller bridge (that's the Made In Germany stamp you mentioned) and just replaced the saddles with brass ones.

Other than pitting on all 6 saddles, the low E, A, and D saddles are the worst chewed up.

Adrian, I have at least 3 bridges that need saddles. I might have to locate a source of a gross of saddles to keep my guitars saddled up.

Looks about the same as mine did when I got it. In my case, I pulled the saddles out of a stock modern Gibson bridge (yup, they fit perfectly and worked with the original screws in the Schaller) and replaced them. Worked out really well as the originals were zinc and the replacements are brass.
