Hanes today, I managed the Only way to hold a guitar in one's lap, plus hold a camera phone to grab some pics of the sides of a ROUND bodied LP and not have it fall over with 4 dogs surrounding my chair and all kinds of disasters possible.are those the Hanes socks ?? or fruit of the loom ...... asking for a friend![]()

looks like action and pup height are SPOT ON Brother!! Amazing how good those "low end" Epiphones can be aint it??
I bought a cherry burst Standard in '79 that was a lot like this one: similar light flame, one piece back.
Slim maple neck, big volute for strength. Played great, lively at volume, not too heavy by Norlin standards. Mine had uncovered zebras.
Ten years later a bandmate, one of my oldest friends, fell in love with it talked me into selling.
Sold it to him dirt cheap with the agreement that if he ever decided to part with it, I'd have first dibs to buy it back.
Band breaks up. Five years go by. When I finally ran into him again I asked how my old guitar was doing.
"Oh, I sold it a coupla years ago. Got a great price. Used the money to buy a '59 LP Junior." Grrr...
