New Build

My condolences.


Great build. I love seeing your amp projects. They always blow me away.

I hope to have enough projects done around the house by the end of the summer to jump into a kit build to get my feet wet. Java is pushing me to just jump into a scratch build. Even though I repair CNC machines, and their electronics. They are a different beast, and am still a bit squeamish about jumping into an amp. Bob D. said he'd help when I need it. So, it's nice having a guardian angel a block away.
 
We did get married I got the corporate paper work with a private sealed letter with the alarm codes and safe codes for five houses Anna said in the letter I made her life complete
That got to me bad most would be cheer leading. Last night I dropped off the paper work to my CPA Catie said Anna was brilliant.
Now I met someone Ann ya said she watched our band play in front of 5,000 people was I scared not at all. Said I looked like the man she was going to get married to but was killed in battle
I had my Doctor check Ann ya out my Doctor said she's great 100% good. Ann ya will have her full US citizenship this June and want's to sponsor her twin sister they are Russian both 10's
Then asked if she could move in with me I said you pay 1/2 the bills she said fine. I don't want to show my cards I want her to want me for who I am not what I have.
I have to fly and check out the other houses I own now. The amp is going slow.

Plexi, you're a talented guy - amazing work. This is one of the most interesting threads I've seen on any guitar forum.

The skill, knowledge and patience to do all of this is fantastic. Nowadays, the norm for electronics seems to be to just model it up on a software package and send it to a chip manufacturer. It's great to see real technical knowledge and skills in play.

If you ever have time, I'd love to share an email exchange with you on a simple analogue circuit I'm trying to build modelling a simple reflex circuit (only five neurons). It's in the field of neuromorphic circuitry, and I'm shockingly poor at circuit design, controlling timings, signal merging, decays, etc.

Most importantly of all: I'm sincerely sorry for your loss.
 
It's going slow finished the bias voltage used the 100 volt primary leg adjusted to 28 volts to 44 volts range. Next wire in the FET and adjust the drain voltage then the relays and controls
then adjust the dropping string voltage and debug it. Then adjust the PI for 7.3 voltage differential that will give it inflate clean sustain.

I can't remember if you were the one that discussed this spec before. It sounds familiar. What or where, are you measuring for these differences in voltages?

After the phase inverter plate resistors?
 
pin 1 and 6 on the PI I will be shooting for 298 volts pin 1 and 305.3 volts pin 6 then fine tune by ear. that would be the 10k pot you have to use a insulated screwdriver or get shocked.

you have to use a guitar so your grounded that's the danger of getting shocked on adjusting the PI trim pot.

Anna wrote me a private letter you made my life complete. My friend Lisa proposed to me yesterday. I said yes but give it one to two years. I trust Lisa 100%

Life is tough. Glad you have some one to pick you up and keep going. Life is precious.
