You have to pass the Dumble test to even have one made then it's 2 to 5 year wait. I was in the studio in 1978 and Dumble unplugged my amp plugged me into a Dumble Beach Boy's amp
I had to rerecord that day the BB amp sucked but I passed the Dumble audition got a packet with all the models and price list and contract's that I would not let anyone open up the amp built
or sell it. At the time My Billy Zoom modified Fender amps killed that Beach Boy amp The price list was $1280.00 to $5,000.00 that was big bucks in 1978
Fast forward to now the $1280.00 amps are $85,000.00 and the $5,000.00 are $250,000.00 on the secondhand market. One concern is they were build and tuned for the buyer only
so no two are alike.
This is #102 I try to tune by builds to this amp just on the edge of out of control. Still learning something new every day been building this form of amp for 12 years.
