New Build

Finished the amp part today It's debugged and has proper voltages everything works sounds like the best Marshall ever made...
OK... That does look very nice... :yesway:. But that has to be the most un-Marshally Marshall insides, I've ever seen. What elements of a Marshall are in there? Can you send it to me, so I can demo it for about 20 years?

It has Marstran Heyboer transformers JMP Marshall style next the filter board is real close to a JTM 45-100 I have a master volume for the clean channel and the overdrive channel.
And through the FET input it sounds so close to my former 50 watt Black Flag Marshall. Other than that it's a Dumble ODS.

Thanks for the explanation. That's a very interesting combination of components and circuits that you've created there. +1 on the Marstran trannies... :yesway:

The Pihers were just a little dark sounding on the plate resistors V-1 so I replaced them with Mepco/Electra 1% 135k/2k2 135k/2k2 it balanced my voltages V-1 pin 1 and 6 205vdc V-2 pin 1 and 6 205vdc I can't ask for more exact voltages.

Well Pure ripoff of what I just built Last year. I never posted photos but I'm sure they opened up my build. I've been cloned.

Are you saying that the Pihers were a little dark because you needed a different value resistor? Or, is it something in the nature of those Pihers?

They used Fender Twin transformers way cheaper than EL34 transformers. a 6L6GC draws .9 amp a EL34 draws 1.5 amp on the filament's.
Smart Belle Amplification P51 100 Watt Amplifier | Axe... And You Shall Receive
I find the EL34 to have twice the clean sustain and overdrive sustain as the 6L6GC and harmonic's off the charts.
As far as their claim as a 1970'S Dumble is BS it's a 5th generation skyline EQ ODS.
Fact they claim to have had 1970'S parts custom made is true you can't get that sound out of China made parts.
What I think the transformers are EIA code #238

Well now I have a blown or noisy voice coil on the Fane-12L 200 watt speaker. Fane does not make a recone kit anymore bummer. It was a great sounding speaker.
I have a bunch of 12" speakers will see what I use.
