I'm still amazed at the tone that comes out of my Rectoverb 25.
It even sounds good with ME playing thru it...
 
I found the Boogie board worthless. I had a shot at repairing 1100 fried Lone Star Mesa amps. I did a few had to build boards from scratch. Mesa wanted $50k plus 4 months training to be a servicing dealer and a store front.
Just not worth it in Alaska.

I will say though, Mesa is good about supplying schematics. I called and asked for one for my amp and they emailed it why I was still on the phone.
 
The 784-139 OPT is an exact copy, the primary winding's are mismatched like the original's just by a few ohm's.
Robert was an Engineer for Fender until they closed down in 1982-3 I buy most of my transformers from Robert
I built a copy of #102 ODS with 1970 Fender Twin transformers It was close but lacked the harmonic content I called Robert he sent me a 28 year old NOS set of Thordarsen Missner EIA code 238
transformers they were spot on. That's what Dumble used then. That amp has 3 world tours now I can't disclose who plays that amp because of an endorsement contract.
Next my friend Mark sent me the information on the Dumble Tweedle dee Deluxe I told Robert he sent a 1959 Fender Deluxe OPT NOS I built that amp in 4 hours I wanted a backup amp
I tried 5 different OPT they all fell short I called Robert he was out of stock but found one 400 hours later both amps sound the same.

ChasFred thank you. I lost my Anna last month 6 days in ICU. I needed this build to move on. Have all my parts now but have to deal with 1' of snow today.

I am sorry to hear about you loss. Building something like this is a perfect mental distraction. Pleas keep us apprised of your progress.
 
Bryan's Marstran 1202-118 Power Transformer is reading low 330-0-330 it should be 350-0-350 I have a 1968 1202-118 need that for a restoration

That will mess up the dropping string will have to recalculate

Sorry to hear of your loss plexi.
What B+ are you looking for? Maybe a 1202-133 PT (Brian can have one wound for you), as found in some JTM50's. Has the same secondary voltages as the JTM45's 1202-55 but higher current capability to accommodate EL34's, so around 350VAC a side yielding a B+ of 460 with tube rectification & 475 plus with SS rectification. Cheers
