I'm awaiting a chance for the house to be empty to turn this baby up for some feedback:Drums done & in Reaper, if work chills ,gonna bring 2 5150 heads into the LR & mic the cabs up tonight. Was so nice to hear full songs, great job & much appreciated on the songs already submitted.
At last. Ku has a solid reason to exact sweet revenge on his noisy neighbours!
Oh, the PUS,... (People Up Stairs), yes. THOSE neighbors. I'll turn it up to 11 and blast them through the roof. I don't refer to them as neighbors. They're just the PUS.I'm actually the only noisy one.
That gives me a good idea. I should wait 'til about 3am to do it.At last. Ku has a solid reason to exact sweet revenge on his noisy neighbours!
Shallow existence? Oh me oh my. Work, Eat , Shower, commute and repeat. The ending is paraphrasing T. S. Eliot, from The Hollow Men.
"This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
Not with a bang, but a whimper."
In the ending of the poem "The Hollow Men", T. S. Eliot conveys a sense of despair and emptiness. The lines "This is the way the world ends / Not with a bang but a whimper" suggest a quiet and uneventful ending rather than a dramatic or impactful one. This ending reflects the theme of spiritual emptiness and the inability to find meaning or fulfillment in life.
The poet is conveying a message about the consequences of living a hollow existence, devoid of genuine emotion or connection. The hollow men in the poem represent those who lack substance, who live superficially and without purpose. By ending the poem with a whimper instead of a bang, Eliot emphasizes the insignificance and futility of their existence.
Overall, the ending of the poem serves as a stark reminder of the importance of seeking deeper meaning, connection, and authenticity in life to avoid a fate of emptiness and despair. Eliot's message encourages readers to reflect on the consequences of living a shallow and insincere life and urges them to strive for greater depth and significance in their actions and relationships.
Double Hockey sticks, yeah!
I had no melody in my head at all and just had to wing it.
But here is my dual challenge for @Thatbastarddon he should walk away with the win no problem.
But I did get to turn the volume up.
The Jackson is easily tamed at volume 4 on the DSL’s
Holy monkey , visual = 10, volume =11?I'm awaiting a chance for the house to be empty to turn this baby up for some feedback:
Thank you JamesDouble Hockey sticks, yeah!
Well let’s hear it, I enjoy hearing your work.By the way, I did com across a riff or 2 that could be the main challenge. I was quoting but It’s just in my blood to meet a challenge.
Like a drug, I can’t quit.
I've been using the Mode Four for YEARS! I've had SO MANY ppl come up to me after a gig asking me what I'm playing through, saying they thought my tone was off the chain. The M4 gets such a BAD rap. I had a mushroom cloud come out the back of mine TWO different times while playing the SAME song, Pulled Pork. I played the bass line on the guitar, with wah, cranked up. The first time was my fault for not checking where the last guitarist had the speaker cable plugged into the cab and I blew the ¼" plug right out the jack. The second time was at a gig, same song, just couldn't handle the it after being blown up and "repaired". The guy I contacted said he wouldn't touch it but I brought it to a friend who owns a music store and he got him to fix it.Holy monkey , visual = 10, volume =11?
Mode 4, I had a chance to buy one of those before people figured out they sound good recently. MARshall…..yes!
@ibmorjamn Good eye, btw!!! You'd never be able to tell my old one was a M4. It's now a $1500 paper weight. (Yeah, they're pretty F'IN heavy, too) The DSL might be heavier though, with TWO transformers.Holy monkey , visual = 10, volume =11?

I am in such a slump at the moment, I have no ideas and no inspiration for any, I just seem to be doing the same things over and over.
