The Muse I Adorn

Is that ice?
You could walk into Canada without border checks?

You can, but Driving sure is easier. The ice is 30inches thick....there is truck activity all day long on the lake.

lake memphremagog....It's in both US and Canada. The library in town is too.

I'm a morning person, 9:00AM here with a little light summer rain falling.
Time for a little of the same old same old :-)
Different view ;-)

I had one of those about a year or so ago. Sold it to a buddy and the guitar player in his band loved it and played live at their gigs (they play regularly in the local bars, clubs, etc). I was a great guitar out of the box. I had the three pickup version too - it was also a great guitar out of the box. I like the SX furrians a lot - nice guitars for the price.

Tonight I adorn Jack, who is so good looking, he adorns me. Jack is my 2012 Tom Anderson Drop Top, which I custom ordered. It took 8 months to come, not including the 2 weeks that it was lost by UPS (a real killer after an 8 month wait). It has a 5 way switch and a 3 way toggle for "normal", split or "VA Boost" , a passive mid-bump (which is where I got the idea to include it in my home mods). A pull of the tone knob adds bridge to poitions 3-5 (position 3 adds a full HB bridge where position 2 is split bridge).

The original "Jack" was my Uncle, who lent me his 1963 Guild Starfire when I was deciding if I would "stick" with guitar at age 12. His band "The Trolls" played at the 1964 Queens, NY World's Fair.

This is...wait for it...Tony! It is a Tom Anderson Bulldog, now extinct due to a Gibson cease and desist letter.

It was named because of it's stripes and, for you catholic Italians, because it was the 13th guitar I bought (the second part made my mom, the aforementioned "Joy" of the last post, very happy). I played this tonight to see if I thought it was in need of a truss rod adjustment. So far, I have refrained!
