The Muse I Adorn

That S1 switching sure is a versatile option but looks a bit complicated at first until you get used to the different sounds. That's a beauty guitar Ray...I really like the Burgundy Mist colour. I also like the back heel of the guitar where the neck joins onto the body where it's sculpted for easier upper fret access. I own a '98 Fender American Standard in a much darker, bordeaux metallic purple that doesn't have no S1 switching but I added my own switch which is a neck-on switch. Instead of 5 positions I have now 7. When I have the bridge pup on only then flick on the neck switch both pickups are out-of-phase which is a very cool sound. I also like having all 3 pick ups on at once for a very sparkling and shimmering sound. BTW...can I ask a question Ray? How many guitars do you have now?...50?:hmmm::wink:

I love adding my own switches. It is nice to have that skill so any guitar is a "custom".

As for how many, my wife says too many, I say not enough. I would prefer not to put a number on it, but I do have 2 bodies and necks on the way!

Refer to my introduction post

I love winter and snow - but I doubt I could do it full time. Here, it can be 19 degrees and snowing...and in less than an hour, I'm off the mountain and in 70 degree sunshine.
Man, I've seen snow twice in my life. Most of this summer daily temps were around 107.6F/42C. Its into autumn now & at 7am I'm wearing shorts only. Looking forward to winter, albeit without snow. Cheers

Is that ice?
You could walk into Canada without border checks?
YEs you can even DRIVE when the ice is thick enough--- we used to take full sized trucks and jeeps out on the ice to set ice fishing lodges for the season.......

You can run across the lake to the Canadian side and bring back booze and smokes eh!
not that we would ever do that --- but the smugglers of old used to and made big $$$$ doing it---
