Announcing... RiffMasters!

Much appreciated man

I decided to chose a guitar with the most stanky mojo. My favorite partscaster that I dubbed “single barrel”. I was never a big drinker but I used to be really into collecting bourbon before the prices got out of control. For this one used some powdered analine dye and bourbon as the solvent. The basement stunk something fierce for a couple nights but I think it came out kinda cool.
It’s a ToneBomb body with a Warmoth V carve neck and a gnarly Duncan BG1400 pickup.
Marshall knobs topped it off for me

Someone say Booker's?

Being Canadian, bourbon isn't really much a thing up here, but I got a bottle of Maker's Mark for xmas a couple years ago, and I think I'm down to one or two enjoyments remaining. The corn liquor thing is very different from the rye thing I' grew up with, it's a pleasant sweetness to it comparatively. I've also tried a bottle of Evan Williams I think, it was kind of nasty.

Speaking of whisky and corn liquor, I think a lot of you are really gonna dig the side hustle so get votin' and lets get moved on!
And again, my apologies @Aynirar27 - my error on this poll was because I just edited the last poll and didn't change your name
from that one

- would you be ok if I just edited the poll and gave you like a few extra votes to make up for it?

I really don't drink much but have learned the nuances of bourbon. Bookers & Knob Creek from Jim Beam hits my palate like its water. Some batches are vanilla with bit cinnamon & some are like black licorice. I dont do well with others & its the 120+ barrel proof where all actual flavor is. They dont add water, huge dif than 80 proof . Actually enjoyable sipping & figuring out the flavors. Every once & awhile a stand out batch is like sugar water sometimes. Super smooth & scary how it goes down at that proof lol

I'll just save that gif to my phone for when I need it and we can call it even.
Oddly enough, the Rye industry in America was flipped on it's head when companies like Whistle Pig started botting pure Canadian Rye that was intended for blended Canadian Whiskey.

Sounds like we have similar tastes. I rarely drink, but when I do it's just a neat ounce or two for sipping on throughout the night. Barrell proof is definitely where the flavors are at. I'll stop there though as to not completely derail the thread lol.

My “collection” does not match up. Got some JD and SoCo I use for mixing. Bottle and 1/2 of Buffalo Trace. And my eldest gifted me with a bottle of Blantons with 2 or 3 fingers worth left. Going to be happy birthday to me in October.

Edit: Oh yeah. I also use the JD to make my Bourbon Pineapple BBQ Sauce. It’s really good!

Not gonna lie, looking like a bit of a beat-down so far, despite both putting
up some very bluesy toanz and stylings.

Which other TTR brothers are gonna lay down some down-in-the-dumps guitar for a single point?

I'm ok with being a pink Barney in this instance.

I'm ready to move on to the side hustle though. I need something to distract me from my failure-in-progress of a main event lol

Well we have another duel come and gone.

Mitch laid down in my opinion his best game submission yet, a dynamic piece on a gorgeous burst paul
that was really feelin' it. I thought it was going to be a rather hard act to follow, and so did his competitor.

But TTR newbie @Aynirar27 well, follow it he did! He came back guns a-blazing with some gritty Growltone™
a bourbon-soaked mongrel guitar, wearing shirt with ugly Eddie on it.

The TTR Tribe has spoken.

ScoreMaster @LiveeviL2000 please add 16 points to @Aynirar27 and even though @Mitch Pearrow SJMP suffered a "No Pay Friday,"
he still gets paid 8 points on a Saturday morning, for a some nice compensation for his work. Amazingly entertaining duel, men -
Perhaps the extra points added to your score may boost spirits for the both of you. Nobody needs to be that sad on a Saturday!

"Blooz Man" duel still open for anyone else to take a stab at it for a single point, and I hope you do!
