Would be really cool to have lived through Morrison, Hendrix, Marilyn Monroe - people that died before I arrived.

I say this with kids maybe feeling the same about Cobain, that I was here for. I guess it's not that special and rather status quo when one was actually here for it in real-time.
 
I was 8 when Monroe died. But Morrison and Hendrix. Yeah. Remember well. As well as so many others of the 60s/70s that died too soon. It was a good time for music. Not that there hasn’t been good music made since… most definitely has. But music of my formative years is still my favorite to this day.

I decided to chose a guitar with the most stanky mojo. My favorite partscaster that I dubbed “single barrel”. I was never a big drinker but I used to be really into collecting bourbon before the prices got out of control. For this one used some powdered analine dye and bourbon as the solvent. The basement stunk something fierce for a couple nights but I think it came out kinda cool.
It’s a ToneBomb body with a Warmoth V carve neck and a gnarly Duncan BG1400 pickup.
Marshall knobs topped it off for me

This is going to be my listen during my commute today!
Both entries are top notch and firing on all cylinders.
The grizzled veteran duelist breaks out the heavy gun and pumps up the gain.
While the new comer sits on his stool with a stern look, clad in a Maiden sleeveless and say, "pretty good my man, but check this out!" Then he decides to try and sway us with some top shelf Whiskeys.

This rematch did not disappoint!
 
You guys suck. Couldn’t at least one of you come off playing a disco version of blues. Make it a lot easier. But noooooooooo!!!! Ya both gotta knock it out of the park again. This is going to be just as tough to vote as the first go around between you.
