Watch out for Yoopers! I hear they get a little nutz in the winter!60-65 mile to Joliet from where we live. Only about 10 minutes to cross the Wisconsin border. Can actually be to Milwaukee faster than we can get to Chicago.
Nice!
If I remember correctly, I saw Alien at that movie house the summer of 1979.I spent 3 nights at a truck stop in Joliet Illinois once over the Labor Day weekend, when I was a truck driver. There was a bar next to the truck stop, and a movie house with 3 screens and a large Mall on the other side of the interstate.
Man did I get hammered there
Ahh, sunny California! I have long wanted to visit. Hopefully before I croak, lolI am in the Riverside area of Southern California, one of my neighbors is the March Air Reserve base
The 2 movies I watched there was Urban Cowboy, Bruebaker, the bar had an open mic night, and I was to hammered to try and even play, lolIf I remember correctly, I saw Alien at that movie house the summer of 1979.
Yes and I have no idea what was in the third screen, must have been something lame or I would have gone and watched it to,Brubaker was a great movie. Robert Redford, right?

Sobering thought. The ancientness kinda sneaks up on you. I'm in the same boat.Damm I just thought of something,,, that was 40 years agoI am ancient, lol

Wow! That is more traveling than I can even fathom! I have never left the borders of the USA. Never been farther west than Tulsa, Oklahoma, my farthest eastern jaunt was Baltimore Maryland, farthest south was Panama City, Florida, ans farthest north was Chicago,Illinois. I would love to see South Korea, since that's where most of the guitar parts I use come from (and one of my basses-S101 JH74). Absolutely the best bang for your buck!I'm from London.
My house is in Nakhon Nowhere, Thailand.
I work and stay (for the last 6 years) in Daegeon, Korea. I've also lived/worked in Ulaan Bataar, Oman, Australia and New Zealand - so have spent about 20 of my 49 years outside the UK. I love travelling, and have visited about 50 countries (my last trip was to Yokohama, Japan to watch the rugby world cup final which we sadly lost...).
