Funny thing is we passed the tractor that pulled the othe guys out on the way up
I was there years ago...I always wanted to go back...
I have been in Southern ILL before. A place called Eldorado. Beautiful place.
60-65 mile to Joliet from where we live. Only about 10 minutes to cross the Wisconsin border. Can actually be to Milwaukee faster than we can get to Chicago. How far are you from Joliet? I have an uncle and some cousins living in Channahon, which is between Joliet and Morris.
Know that one well...here's a pic of my little hometown. It's all ag around here too.Ain't nothing like trying to get home from work and getting stuck behind a farm implement cruising at a brisk 15 mph! Paradise!![]()

Well I grew up about 10 miles from a well known amphitheater that looks over the Columbia river. It use to be a great place with good show but over time there music seen has changed. They now do shows for the younger generation, guitars have kinda faded away and its digital content.
This place is the Gorge in George Washington state

That's why I never get in a hurry. Farmers have a job to do too. I love the slower pace of life here in the corn ghetto!Know that one well...here's a pic of my little hometown. It's all ag around here too.

Wow! Music with a view! Here's a couple pics of the Gorge. It's just our backyard but it's easy to see why people like it.

There's nothing like ocean air! My daughter and son in law are at ft Belvoir just south of DC. Every time we go out there, my arthritis quits hurting.Like my profile says. North of Boston, with the witches. It gets a little crazy around here in October. The rest of the year is awesome because I love the smell of the cold water of the North Atlantic, and the ocean is just a short walk away.
