I've disliked strats for decades, so...

The LP Supreme has no rear access panel. The controls aren't mounted on a pickguard or plate like Strats & Teles either. You have to feed everything in through the bridge pickup cavity; it's supposed to be a major pain in the ass. But the back is beautiful - flame maple, pristine and unsullied.

Damn! We been going on for two years now! Time sure flies....
 
I've got a 60th Anniversary Strat

Soundwise it's a gift from heaven. It's also beautiful to look at. Not among my most playable guitars though. That's the only thing I don't really love about real Strats. I've got really lazy hands... They love Ibanez necks and all that sort of thing.
 
HEre is a Tele ish Strat form the 90's era Charvel line--- seems decent for 2 bills--
