I'm realizing how much better Paradigms are than the regular $4.00 Ernie Balls...
 
I love the sound and output of cobalts but I keep breaking those, I swear if they aren’t telephone cables I end up breaking them before their actual life expectancy is up. I’m hoping the paradigm lives up to the 90 day guarantee because im really liking the tone and feel of them.

I can 100% appreciate that.

But, some Epiphones are really good (most are utter shite, imho), and that one looks great, so lets hope you have one of the good ones which are excellent value for money. Very very few Epiphones come anywhere near a Gibson, imho, but some do, some do...

Yea, that was one of the videos that I watched before making my mind up and what tipped me off that he actually uses what he puts out. I remember artists putting out signature guitars that they wouldn't even touch. Hell, I saw the Glenn Tipton LTD signature review and saw comments that he doesn't even use it. (also had to laugh when he talked about the pedal that looks like a robot head that he had to have just because of how it looked) Hell even if he used the epiphone for just a couple of songs on stage, that would be good enough for me to trust in the reliability and playability of it.

Oh yea, I can totally understand that. One of my biggest gripe with epiphone was the electronics, never really had luck with that. So far I have not seen anything negative on this one, but you never know, fingers crossed!
 
I have a USA made Epiphone from the Kalamazoo plant that is absolutely stellar I also have Chinese ones that are absolutely wonderful I have on some that weren't great good for the most part anything that's wrong with them I've been able to repair fix or replace and they're usually pretty darn cheap to start off with

and presently I own one DEMONATOR --- (AMAZING) neck through 24 fret-- ACTIVE bass with 2 piece Warwick bridge------ and BIG OL HONKIN IN YER FACE METAL ARSE HEADSTOCK!!!!

every time i see p90's I get this urge to play sludge riffs, and i don't mean that in a negative way.
That is a bad ass looking boom axe! as I told someone a few years ago. those headstocks always look like something you could use to impale someone who is attacking you and then you can write a metal song about it on the spot! I played on their lower end model ML (i think thats what its called, the dimebag darrel looking ones) and wasnt a fan but the higher end of the same design freaking rocks! and so does the dave mustain ones, i remember enjoying his V and Explorer looking Deans
 
I agree I LOVE the big DEAN headstocks -- to me it MAKES the guitar-- I played several highend USA Deans that day --and the demonator was SOOOOO ugly and odd -- I said "I gotta play this is gonna SUCK" ---- well -- WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it was FOOGIN AWESOME -- and well------ I bought one! -- TWICE!!! (bought one sold it for profit-- missed it BOUGHT ANOTHER!!!!!!!!! ---- ) yep -- I aint right
