I do too, its how i learned that a lot of these pros actually keep it pretty simple for the most part. The most complicated part is all the preamps and other boards just for the making sure it all sounds good in whatever venue they are playing in. I pretty much abandoned distortion pedals and run right off the gain on my amp while pushing mids and treble now
