I cant believe it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It started snowing in the morning they said we could get up to 8 inches of snow by Tuesday morning, well we had that by 10pm last night so shovelled the driveway in afternoon with six inches went out at 10pm shovelled another six. Woke up this morning and buried with another 7 with drifts of 3 feet in some areas. And we have another warning of storm starting this morning going into evening calling for another 8 inches...…...Well I spent another 45 minutes this morning digging out around the Suv to the back, now I will let the contractors do the rest . Man I have had a workout already this morning!! We got more snow yesterd and through the night than what we have had in the last 6 years combined unbelievable!!!!!! This is the kind of snow they get in the Northern part of the province not here in the Southern...….. Here's a couple of pics I took. Got all the snow off the SUV before I even got started. I could of let the contractors do it, but I don't like them around the vehicle lots of those guys are careless have seen them hit vehicles with shovels and I once seen a guy scrape my next door neighbours car, so I like to do my steps and vehicle before they get here.DSC00341.JPGDSC00342.JPGDSC00340.JPG

This has really caught me by surprise Hackmaster!!! but hey I do like having Four Seasons. I was used to this weather growing up when I lived up in the Northern part of the Province, but not here. But like you say it looks Beautiful. The best part of it all is I don't have to commute, now that i'm retired, and I no longer have to work outside!! :)(y) By the way enjoy your Sunny balmy day!!

NE Illinois was a balmy 7 degrees (wind chill was below zero) when I took the pooch out this morning. She was not a happy puppy..... but she did get her "business" done in a hurry. Yesterday we probably got 6ish inches of snow. Ground is still warm enough that snow is melting and settling. Highly unusual weather for the middle of November. But whatcha gonna do. Mother Nature does whatever the heck she wants.

I myself can do without the cold. I thrive in 90+ degrees once we get below 50 im miserable, and right now its 45 degrees, was 37 while i was still at work EARLY this morning...

if the wind isn't blowing, i'm fine with mid to upper 50's but 50 is that threshold where im thinking "Screw this, I don't care, I'm not stepping out of the patrol car!" I mean...I do anyways because i like being paid...but... you get the idea.
