I've been using my Dark Terror a bit more frequently this past month and I agree; it's quite the little beast. In what context do your use our DT, Session 5?

I employ it for practice at home and with my Les Paul Classic. I've managed to get my favorite tone just at the beginning of the amp's crunch tone....this without OD or Distortion pedals, only a TC Electronic reverb pedal. With the V30 speaker nearly broken in now, it is sounding more smooth as time goes on. I doubt if I will be using all of the gain this amp has and many reviews state the same.

Well Stratstrangler , I have a friend who owns one I really like the tones. I have the 35RT which is a SS its a great amp for me its my main amp for home.

Interesting that you posted a Page photo. I've been trying to get my Dark Terror to sort of “cop” the tone that Jimmy used on his Orange AD30 @ the O2 performance in 2007. Not that it's the same sound, but only an approximation of his; being that they are 2 different amp designs. They still carry that Orange “characteristic” IMO.
