I'm locked into the nasty looking gold pick guard. I never thought this would get down to the final days when I bought the thing.

I actually think that may look hot together. Transaparent red with (brushed?) gold PG with gold hardware!

My dream is a prewired gold colored tin pick guard. Two soap bar pick ups and lots of switches that do nothing but they are wired up.

Just like that but with the soap bar pick ups in black and wiring. That was $105. 00 from the company that sells mostly Fender stuff. I think the name is Stratopher or the like. I have never bought a loaded pick guard before. I would change the pots if I was not in such a rush to play it.

I have clear varnish and I can possibly add some color to it. My regular driver is off and I have a temporary guy. He is following the company line, no side trip. The point is I can't get to a hardware store unless I take a bus or a taxi. So it turns out that this guitar is going to be what I have in my cabinet.

That's actually a real nice looking guitar! That looks like a metallic orange body with gold hardware and gold speed knobs...that looks real sweet. I've seen videos of this guy before playing different guitars and he's pretty good...he must be some sort of guitar dealer.

I always thought he was dealing that Irish junk, Patty O Furniture. You see that out door thing he was sitting in doors on. I used a Teddy Bear to prop up my Shur 57.
