What Are You Doing Right Now?

Vacation ahead :)
I've been planning my vacation too. Going to New Mexico in October for the balloon fiesta ...

I would also like to visit Meow Wolf...

Affirmative. Bucket list trip for my bride. Spending some time in Italy. Island of Sardinia, then some touring of Florence and Rome.
You should just use the ATM while you're there. Depending on your bank, there are usually no fees (or very little). And it is done at the exchange rate at the time of the transaction. I'm usually in Europe or the UK a couple of times a year and just hit an ATM when I'm there. Leftover from previous trips I think that I still have €120 and £80. You might want to let the bank know you're traveling ahead of time. If they do have high fees for transactions, make sure you don't pay for things like drinks ala carte. Run a tab and swipe the card once. You'll find most places in Italy are still on a cash economy, as is most of Europe. Except England, they seem to be afraid of cash these days which is a rollover from covid. It is also not tourist friendly being forced to swipe a card for every pint. My wallet is treated much better in Germany and Italy.

Good info. Thank you.

Last night drove into Chicago to watch/listen to the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra. Two oldest grand kids play in it. Granddaughter plays trombone. Grandson play bassoon and contrabassoon. In a couple days CYSO is headed to Spain for a concert tour. Here's where. Just in case someone might be in the neighborhood and feels like checking out some pretty good music.

Me and the owl in my backyard are engaged in a staring contest with each other at distance of 15'. When he's standing up he's at least 18" tall. He's here everyday looking for some unsuspecting chipmunk, mouse, baby rabbit, or squirrel to feast upon. And now I know who killed off all of the doves in our backyard.
