What Are You Doing Right Now?

Watching the news... dayum...
Considering the amount of existing interest there is in guitars it's quite disturbing that there isn't a Guitar Channel on cable tv or available for streaming.
Lots of cooking shows though. I like food just as much as the next guy but Gibson and Fender should have their own TV channels.
I'd tune in. You?

Yes good idea, Rick Beato would be the host .

No joke. Never thought about that. But as many food shows as I’ve watched…. A guitar channel would be quite cool.

Yup! I agree 100%.

All that needs to happen now is for @WavMixer to send the CEOs of Gibson and Fender a link to this thread to them and plant the seeds of thoughts into their brains and then they can fire their marketing managers for not suggesting the possibility of a Guitar Channel.

Anyways, just another silly thought I had today.

I had 2 great days with my newly steroid filled backbone... But today was rough, it hurt all day.

Joe B. could bankroll it !

Sitting in shade throwing down some water. Just finished digging up a couple stumps. One really small Buckthorn. Took minutes. And another from a dead tree I took down a
Couple years ago. Apparently didn’t get all the stump at the time. Well….. not only did I have what I thought was stump turned out to be roots. Ended up with a trench 5-6 ft long to get all the root.

Now. I could have done this yesterday in reasonable temperatures and low humidity. Slow learner that I am, I wait till we have near 90 and high humidity.

I finally registered the free Beetle I got last year. It took a while to find the right set of rims for the disc brake conversion, and then had to buy tires. Found a nice set of '66 Porsche 912 rims and hubcaps.

Been doing other little stuff along the way. Got out of work early today and took it for it's first test drive. As expected it ran a bit rough. It didn't help that my wife was playing with switches last weekend, and left the running lights on. After I got back, I hooked it up to the charger and ran out for a couple of gallons of 93 octane gas. I'll give it another go in a little while. I want to make sure it will start again if it stalls.

Not happy with the shifter. May have to add that to the laundry list for the garage next week. There's a good shop over in Salem that just works on air cooled VWs.
