My favorite way to smoke baked beans is in a tray, under a rack of ribs or a pork shoulder.

That’s taking it to the next level!! I gotta try that. I just did a shoulder here not long ago. Maybe I’ll try this with ribs.

Got around to doing the pork shoulder yesterday. Injected and mopped with a hard cider recipe I found online. We'll see how it all tastes tomorrow.

Got another tritip, this one is ugly, slow roasting with the fat cap down…riding high, over the fire!

Picked up the ribeyes at my local meat market. About 1 1/2" thick. Grilled the ribeye as well as a sweet potato and had leftover tomato/mozzarella/fresh basil salad. Nice 2017 Cabernet Franc from our favorite New York Finger Lakes Winery. She was a happy birthday girl.
