What’s on the Grill

Extremely tasty lol

I used a jam we made last season as a glaze. I mixed a Texas style bbq sauce with a hot (homemade) jam (apricot/ghost/Carolina reaper) for the glaze, it worked out well.

It wasn't overpowering. But it did mingle with all the other flavors quite well.
Ahhh gee. Now ya got me feeling the need to smoke some pork. What a bummer. :pound-hand:

Well its been some time since I've posted, just haven't had much to say.
Any how I've got smoker fired and gettin temp to balance before i put meat on. Its a big cook out today should make enough to feed family all week.
Doing abot 10lbs of chicken, abot 8lbs of chuck roast, a loaf of white cheddar cheese, and maybe a pot of baked bean from a recipe i have.
Ill get pics in time today

Oven is on the blink. Had a craving for Hawaiian pizza. So yesterday I grilled some pineapple. Also grilled the Canadian bacon just enough for grill marks. Put my pizza stone on the grill and did the pizza tonight. Lots of cheese. Washed it down with a Mai Tai. Yum.

We’ve been making this pizza for a long time. Always been tasty. A few years back we started using an Apple BBQ sauce for the base. That kicked it up a notch. Then I made the “mistake” of finding a Bourbon Pineapple BBQ sauce recipe that’s a bit spicy. Yeah. That put it over the top.
