Wait for a B-Stock alder wood SX. They go for $ 120 normally buy go for $80-100 B-Stock. They also have swamp ash.

The wife went out and I just applied some 3-amps at once volume. I now can safely say that the pickup combo is a success! The neck is a bit throaty, but great with the middle, and when it is alone, it splits. In fact, the neck and the middle work well if the neck is split or HB. The bridge is super hot with Alnico IIs and there is nothing wrong with that! For variety, it also splits, which works nice with the middle in position 2. Fun, fun fun!!!
