I think that "gear endorser" has one primary concern, and "domestic" sourced parts = margin erosion.I was thinking maybe only the switch tip is US made.![]()

Norm it's not legal to sell counterfeit products and people that claim chibsons are better than Gibson's are retarded
To be authentic merch, it'd have to be made in China. Not a Gibson, but a Trump.
Wow.That Les Paul 54 is prolly my favorite looking Les Paul.
You never know some guitars go up in valueWow.That Les Paul 54 is prolly my favorite looking Les Paul.
This was in the early 70s. You got to realize at the time they were nust cheap old guitars .Who knew
A made in China guitar is one thing. A made in China guitar with Gibson on the headstock is another. That is a counterfeit Chibson guitar and is wholly illegal.
A made in Asia cheap car with Ford on the grill? Who would stand for it?
To each their own but yes, I agree. I have some excellent China, Korea etc guitars but they do not pretend to be anything but.I've never understood why so many people are willing to give this stuff a pass. Sure, I've played some guitars made in China that were fine, , but it seems so many people are just interested in the illusion of having something they don't that they will buy this counterfeit garbage. Who is it for? Them? Other people? I really don't get it.
And then there are the "replica" makers, who also piss me off.
That guitar looks distinctly Chineese, but for $10,000 I will probably never get a close look at one.
