I think that "gear endorser" has one primary concern, and "domestic" sourced parts = margin erosion.

Well in 1973 I got a 1972 Gibson Les Paul Custom 1954 LE the first reissue Gibson made Paid $450.00
that was big money back then I still have that guitar now what they want for them.

My Dad and his friends would drive the 70 miles from our house in NW Oregon to Portland Oregon to hit the pawn shops. His buddy bought a 57 Tele for 300$ still has it.Ive seen it. Heres one for ya,my Dad bought a 53 Tele for not much all original.He aftwhile sanded the finish off it like Lennon did his Casino. He also put apolstry tacks all the way around on it.yes i seen it. Its been sold and gone for years. There was no asian Fenders or Gibsons only the real deal.

To each their own but yes, I agree. I have some excellent China, Korea etc guitars but they do not pretend to be anything but.

That guitar looks distinctly Chineese, but for $10,000 I will probably never get a close look at one.
Never know until you take it apart.
It's a bolt-on neck, that tells me quite a bit. Only the cheapest les paul copies have bolt on necks.
