Setting off nukes would destroy the land and the radiation would make it uninhabitable for many generations. Release a virus and it kills the people while leaving land, property, buildings and businesses available to those that are not affected by the virus. What a way to win a war! The ultimate passive aggressive tactic for world domination.

Had to stop by the store for a couple of things. The store was a little more crowded than i would have liked...took Clorox wipes with me.

Store was well stocked except for 3 items:

Toilet/Kleenex/Paper Towels
Eggs
Bottled Water

Wiped all products down when i got home...shoe bottoms resting on Clorox wipes.

Don't let those images of deserted streets fool you. These people are out en masse.

Here's a pic from my 'Cart-Cam' tonight...

It's not uncommon to see people on the traffic islands selling TP for $20/roll...

Oh, they are out all right, they don't have to go to work and are incapable of staying home for a minute! The 710, 405 and 14 Freeways were packed!

I was legitimately traveling home from work. My job is critical and mandatory!

Funny, if you told these lemmings to hunker down in support of their favorite football team, Los Angeles would be a ghost town.

Most of these people are cannon fodder going to waste!!!

Here in the next town the police have broken up several large weddings. Another report this morning, from yesterday.
Sucks people have their special day messed up, but they are completely disregarding the public gathering directive.
It is not a recommendation here, like it or not.

It is from the same religious group; I'm not getting into that, just reporting that community is ignoring the rules.
Could be argued as a constitutional issue vs public emergency, but the concern is spreading it not only among their community but outside it as well.

There going to close both bridges to the island here except to necessary supply trucks, gas, food, beer … and already some nitwit is complaining about not being able to take her dog to the groomers, as the doors sang, People Are Strange! So there will be no way to get off the beach. They closed all the boat ramps county wide since boaters were tethering up to 30 boats together having parties! Tomorrow all beach access is forbidden. This will block the mainland from coming to the beach in droves.

For those who are unaware it appears musiclily is stepping up to the plate to help us during COVID. Not only do they have a lengthy message at the top of their homepage, they will include four respirator masks for $0.01 with your order. Check it out:

Good on them and I will be placing an order today for a hardtail bridge and maybe a tremblock for a couple guitars. Good stuff!!!
The use at own risk, at the end, after the shipping bit is comforting.

I am on Long Island (moving to VA when that becomes possible again)....yesterday, I was walking my dog with my wife (yes, we were together, not 6' apart...it seems stupid to walk 6' apart and then sleep with her later) Anyway, I felt so bad...we saw a party going on, not huge, but a good number of cars. There were balloons and signs all over, it was a lady who had just got her notice that she was cancer free. It just made me sad....one of the neighbors was probably going to complain, and at the same time I wanted the lady to have her party. It's hard. I also know someone who's Mother died last week, don't know if they were able to have the funeral....and if they did....it would be limited to only a few people I guess. Just sad. So yeah....sometimes I get mad....but today I'm just feeling sad. Gotta go play some blues, that will cheer me up. ;)

I understand all the negativity lately, and it's unavoidable.
This is a serious and screwed up situation.
So as I took the dog for a walk, I tried to put things in perspective in my own mind.

As we walked down the dirt road, I could feel the warm sun and the cool breeze.
I could hear my footsteps, birds, cows, squirrels, insects, the breeze in the trees, airplanes above, gunfire in the distance (perfectly normal where I live).
I saw cows, horses, an armadillo, a hog nose turtle, birds, squirrels, dragonflies, the creek so low you couldn't hear the water flowing.
I smelled cows, horses, pine trees and wildflowers.
It's still an amazing and beautiful world.
People are the problem.
