Hope you're doing better now. I swear if it's not one thing it's another. I just got off the phone with Stickers. He's been in the hospital, but he's hoping to go home tomorrow. I'll let him tell you what's up if he wants to, but he was in bad shape.

Did not resolve with Faderlube and cycling the pot several / many times.

I had not played it in a few weeks (I've been on a strat and ...... Tele thing lately).
I figured I should get to it..... and afterwards quickly realized it was the Bridge vol pot that was bad, not the Neck vol pot I just replaced!!

JT, you will get a kick out of one of my most stupid(ly) funny things I laugh at myself for doing once.

Years ago, I was at my dad's house and was getting ready to make some eggs. He has a Galley kitchen, Fridge, countertop over one cabinet, sink, countertop over the dishwasher then the stove. Super small kitchen. SO, here I am standing at the sink with my bowl to scramble the eggs in over to my right on the countertop. I crack the first egg and then instead of emptying it into the bowl, I put it straight into the disposal drain. HAHA, my words to myself, " you big dummy" as I crack a 2nd egg and yup you guessed it. Right down the drain again.

Muscle memory is a bitch, HAHA, I suppose I was used to cracking eggs and into a bowl or frying pan to my left in MY kitchen.
Needless to say, I laughed my ass off at wasting 2 eggs DOWN the DRAIN.

All my best to you, Steve. Hope you come out of the situation stronger and it will all work out with you better equipped for any future tough spots.

I have had that outlook too, ever since our mom got dementia, then strokes, and her eventual passing Oct 30 last year.

Yeah I'm doing ok Steve thanks, although I'm my own worst enemy. I had to go back in for a wee adjustment, got back out and slipped off a stepladder while helping my boy move in to his new apartment. Falling off things is my new "thing" :ROFLMAO:
Last time I spoke to Sticks he told me about his dad, but I didn't know about him being in the hospital. If you speak to him before I do please tell him I was asking for him.
