So Anyway...

Sabbath was THE $HIT!!! Man just listen to Ozzy's voice...Fan intercourse' Tastic!!! When I heard this in 1972 it changed my life...

Dude , happy to see you posted this and I couldn't agree more.
If I had posted that on another popular site it would recieve a extreme prejudice and turned in a downward spiral.

By the way that site is crappy due to just a few obnoxious people. Rant over , thanks for this !

1972: I'm a 14 year old freshman in high school. A friend hands me some headphones... I'm like: What the Hell is that? All that heavy and crazy sound. Defensive instincts take over: I don't like this... it was the new release of Vol 4... Black who? A lot of "stuff" happens the next two years... so my first ever concert (1974, Long Beach Arena) is Sabbath following their Sabbath Bloody Sabbath release: Oh that sweet permeating smell, the volume rearranging my internal organs, the thousands of fans all moving and symbolizing with the vibe of the music, and thousands of the hottest young ladies I have ever seen... I am so hooked now.

Fortunately, I got to see Sabbath one more time with Ozzy following their Sabotage release. During this time, I saw Blackmore's Rainbow with Dio. Then Sabbath with Dio. Then Ozzy with Randy Rhoads. Yup... pretty fortunate!
Long Beach , I saw Blizzard Tour there. And many other bands like Priest , Maiden , Scorpions.

So anyway... as I was checking my IG account last night, I came across a little jewel. Full disclosure: I'm not really in the habit of sharing links to social media posts. Actually, I actively avoid it.

But... seeing that this one combines flawlessly two of the things I love most on this earth -heavy, distorted guitars and kitties-, and knowing that those two are also a strong part of our TTR siblinghood, I thought the following IG link will be not only proper to post but most appreciated by all of us here... so here goes:

Churro and Crunchie approve!

Last night, there was a show down the street. It was a private party, and a couple of friends were in one of the bands. They get together for Xmas shows only. The call themselves The Scrooges, and play Stooges covers while dressed as Santa and his elves. Always a damn fun night whenever they play.

Sully's, the brand that brings some great low brow humor to sports apparel, and other merch, has a huge line of "Masshole" wear. They just moved from a back room t-shirt printing shop to a nice store front about a half a mile from my place. They are partnered with their sister company, Bridge Nine Records, which is a good Hard-core label. It's nice to have a new business in the neighborhood that brings something a little different.

Don, you should make a pilgrimage to the Nath Shoah!
