So anyways,,,, woke up to email from Drummer, pretty strait forward that now he can't commit. It's cool. He did help with the FB & set it all up. Also having someone to bounce ideas with did help spark the motivation to try a whole new band. So anyways..no way quitting, ad going on CL. Time for some new blood...new sound..

So anyway, I fired up the mig welder a few times the last couple weeks to start reclaiming my skills.
Been a few years since I was running beads on the regular.
Good times.

One of my hoods doesnt darken and I got some flash burn. The Soldered in coin type batteries are the likely culprit, according to the Google, when I get around to it.
Bottom of the barrel Harbor Freight black hood works like new.

ANYWAY, I changed the gas bottle and now my regulator just stays full on.
the bottle probably had debris / dust, sawdust etc in the nozzle and I didnt clear it first.
I think it blew crud into the regulator diaphragm; game over.

$70. later a new one is somewhere in the Fedex ether sched. for today.
Flame On!

All my tanks are hrydrotest expired; gotta get that sorted as well.
