Ive reached the point in "flipper-dom" where I have really moved some VERY GOOD gear .......... and wish I still had some of it back for sure
this is truly one of them .... never took the time to LEARN all it could do or appreciate it for its own merits.

There seems to be some very light chipping off on the leftmost portion of the second picture and a little rolling around the same area of the third picture. But then, they're really big close-ups, so not really sure how bad those would actually look and affect performance.

These saddle made a big difference. I can achieve lower action without fretting out and the notes are ringing even clearer than before. The saddles were the same price as the Wilkinson bridge ($28), but a worthy upgrade. Anyway, $ 60 is a very reasonable price for a solid bridge

So anyway, I was wrong laboring under a false impression. I did some reading that made me give my builds a closer listen. There was indeed some rattle on the high E and less so on the B string without a string tree. I have added one for those strings. I could not detect any rattle on the G string , so I did not install a second
