Ive reached the point in "flipper-dom" where I have really moved some VERY GOOD gear .......... and wish I still had some of it back for sure
this is truly one of them .... never took the time to LEARN all it could do or appreciate it for its own merits.

So anyway, I found those Gotoh saddles at Mojotone for $22.99, with free shipping for a big enough purchase.

 
So anyway, I was wrong laboring under a false impression. I did some reading that made me give my builds a closer listen. There was indeed some rattle on the high E and less so on the B string without a string tree. I have added one for those strings. I could not detect any rattle on the G string , so I did not install a second
