So Anyway...

I was impressed ! the pickups are great, have the Gretsch sounds which only Gretsch has. The feel is good, quality is there for the price, good bang for the buck. The guitar is balanced well, fit and finish is top knotch, no adjustments to be needed, frets were smooth, stayed in tune. Pickups are higher output, played both, you could just take them home, they were ready to play right out of the box. Don't let the made in China fool you . This is a guitar worth buying!

I just purchased a london grey model, This is the best playing guitar out of the box that i have purchased in 5 years, no sharp frets, the nut was cut perfect, i did lower the bridge, intonation was spot on. I do not know how you can beat this guitar, it is not heavy, the best sounding pickups i have heard, they are a louder, fatter sound than filter trons. no Gibson mud tone here, not a flaw on this guitar, beautiful finish, high quality tuners, i have added a Dusenburg les trem and it fits like a glove. the neck is a little wide but front to back is thin, very comfortable. I purchased from zZounds, very fast shipping. The body is chambered cutting down the weight and adding big tone. This guitar puts a Les Paul to shame for a lot less money.

So anyway, while setting up my purple guitar, at the suggestion that @Robert Herndon , I notched the saddle under the low E string to promote stability since I have a height differential between set screws on that barrel to create the desired radius. It worked, so I looked around and found this well machined Gotoh "In Tune" saddle. I ordered a set to see how they work. Thanks Robert!

Speaking of tuners, I installed a set of locking Kluson tuners on the Epi LP Ultra today. Very smooth operation. I learned there are 2 tuner holes sizes on Epis 8.8mm and 10 mm.

Oh wait, Ray‘s are saddles,…..NEVERMIND.

Ive reached the point in "flipper-dom" where I have really moved some VERY GOOD gear .......... and wish I still had some of it back for sure
this is truly one of them .... never took the time to LEARN all it could do or appreciate it for its own merits.
Stellar guitars for the $ if you stumble across one anyone

I think they are a great value too. Mine just feels so right, I put it right up there with my LPs. Its a 2006 I picked up for $475 with a HSC.
