Any advantage to not having an adjustable truss rod installed?The neck will get a central rod from the same wood and (hopefully) be stiff enough that i won't need an adjustable truss rod.

WOW, Bea. Great seeing you and seeing this moving along. We all get some projects or tasks in life that get a start and go easily to completion, and then some that go part way, hit a snag or 10 along the way, but then those of us who soldier on, finally get the finished product accomplished. I am wishing for a 100% pleased with your work, instrument once you manage to see this through to completion.And now everything in clamps - hopefully the (fish-) glue is really stronger than the wood:
