Show us your current "MAIN" -Amp & Guitar

Is that the guitar you just fried, did I miss the conclusion? ...I've been out of town for several days and couldn't keep up.
That one is still in process. It’s been sitting I’ve got busy myself and made the mistake of starting 2 other projects in between keeping the grass mowed and throwing the ball for a dog that never gets tired :ROFLMAO:

No. Thats other Jackson ( green one )
Yup, I remember.

AND for all of our members here. I am still charged up in the fact that my bride and I got to meet our friend Ramo and his family, AND we got to stand in the music room he keeps his guitars amps and shoots videos in. When Ramo was having trouble finding a factory OEM Satin finish trem arm for his V, I managed to source one here in America and send it to him as a gift surprise back in 2021-2022.

It sure is nice to have such a nice friend and brother as Ramo.

Yea man it was def good times to see you and your lovely wife.

My "main" amp depends on which band I'm playing with. For my main (old school punk rock and roll originals), I most often use a Sovtek MiG50H 50W tube head into a Risson 4x12 cab (re-badged as "Krashall," as my efforts to secure a Risson badge, to replace the one missing when I got it, were unsuccessful):

However, I frequently use other rigs with that band, depending on the venue and PA. For example, I've also used my Marshall DSL 40C 1x12 into a Marshall model 1510 4x10 bass cab, when outdoors:

Or my Marshall Lead 100 head (model 3210) into a 4x12 or 4x10:

We're playing this coming Sunday on Memorial Day Eve, in a venue with a cramped stage, no amp-mic'ing, and a 2-story ceiling, so I'm going with a dual 1x12 combo mini-stack, my Peavey Triple XXX Super 40 EXP as master for a Marshall 75 Reverb model 5275.

My side bands require less volume and more variety, so I usually go with my little Super Champ XD. If unmic'd (or not lined out to PA) I may pair it with a Marshall Lead 20 model 5002 for a 2x10 mini-stack

As the above photos reflect, I don't have a main guitar. I intentionally rotate through them for shows. I have a couple dozen from which to choose.

For the last several years, my main rig has been my highly modified and customized 1995 hecho-en-Ensenada Fender Telecaster (nicknamed “Big Tex”) through my Big Ol’ Board of Sonic Bliss (a Furman SPB-8 that’s pretty much loaded with everything I’ll ever need), all terminating into my beloved 1990 Fender ‘63-reissue Vibroverb amp.

EDIT: after posting this picture, I noticed the extreme settings of the tremolo/vibrato/whatever, as well as the reverb being set much higher than I normally run it…I think the settings are for playing the old Johnny Kidd & the Pirates song “Shakin’ All Over” with my daughter’s band…it requires a lot of throb and splash to sound right…

The Big Ol’ Board of Sonic Bliss has (in order):

Snark SN-10 Chromatic Tuner
Ibanez TS9RI Tube Screamer
Boss RT-20 Rotary Ensemble
Dunlop MWA95 Crybaby wah (modified/customized GCB95, my *ahem* “Signature Model”…since Dunlop doesn’t recognize my genius, I had to make my own signature model…note Sarcasm Font)
1970’s MXR Phase 90
Dunlop JS2S Jimi Hendrix System Classic Fuzz (basically a Fuzz Face in an MXR enclosure)
MXR M133 Micro Amp
Rocktron HUSH Noise Reduction
Line Wolf Blues Company Harp Break (harmonica overdrive/distortion)
MXR M169 Carbon Copy Analog Delay

(Note: the tuner has been upgraded since this pic was taken—I returned the Snark SN10 to my daughter and there’s now a Boss TU-3 in it’s place; also replaced the large Rocktron HUSH pedal with a Rocktron Mini HUSH)

Awww, what the heck. Four and a half years, let's dig this one up.
And thank you for doing so, @SG John !

I had a Code 50. Sounded OK but I HATED that everything was a preset. You couldn't just set it like an amp without saving it as a preset, if you ever switch it away.
Couldn't bond even with a speaker change.
I can work with presets as long as I have a Panel setting to use such as the Katana and the JMD

I have just created several presets using the app that I control with the footswitch, never touch any knob but the volume. Gives me all the tones I need for my various guitars and saves me having to think about stompboxes while playing. I have been very happy with the functionality and tone but can see how the control panel may not be for everyone.

I have found with these modeling amps that (for me) a speaker change never really improves them - they have flat-response/full range speakers and actual guitar speakers have such a crazy response curve that it ends up being hard to EQ for them.

I usually finds myself slightly tweaking gain or something as i play - so the preset has to be changed. Kind of a nightmare in a rehearsal situation. HOme use would be OK but I got lots of others for home use and rehearsal and live. I didn't bond with it

Excellent amount of variety in those rigs , that’s for sure.
Thanks, if that was directed to mine.

I have lots to choose from, both in the amp and guitar/bass departments. ;) These driveway shots are from 2022:

I'm on a mission to eventually gig every last bit of gear that's giggable (so, excluding li'l tiny amps like the baby Kustom 1x8 and the Positive Grid Spark Practice Amp 2x4, etc.). Right now the two biggest as-yet ungigged targets are the pictured AC30 (heavy as hell, plus no channel-switching), and a newer acquisition not pictured in the above driveway shots, a Fender Bassbreaker 18/30 [MX 2016 or after: dual amplifier circuits, 30W clean channel (based on the 30-watt Blackface Deluxe) and 18W dirt (based on the 18-watt '61 Brown Deluxe), 2x12 combo with G12V-70 Celestion speakers]:

I also more recently replaced my longstanding Crate bass head (in the driveway pics) with this, which I also haven't gigged, since I'm not currently the bassist in any bands:

So many amps, so little time...
